Stratégies MBC inc. is committed to protecting the personal information submitted through its website. This policy describes the information collected, how it is used, the service providers involved and how to contact our privacy officer.
1. Information we collect
Our contact form collects the name, email address and message you submit. The language of the page you used may also be included so that we can respond appropriately. Our hosting provider may process certain technical information needed to route and secure requests and detect spam. Please do not submit sensitive personal information or confidential information about third parties.
2. Purposes of collection
We use the information received to understand your inquiry, communicate with you and follow up as appropriate. We do not use it to build advertising lists or send unsolicited marketing communications. Collection is limited to information relevant to these exchanges.
3. Hosting, service providers and disclosures
The website is hosted by Netlify, which receives and stores contact form submissions. Akismet helps filter spam, and a hidden honeypot field helps prevent automated submissions. Notifications are forwarded to our business email service. These providers may process or store information outside Québec. Stratégies MBC remains responsible for the personal information it handles and for applicable obligations concerning transfers outside Québec.
4. Language preferences and cookies
When you first visit the homepage, Netlify may use the language indicated by your browser to offer the French, English or Spanish version. If you select a language yourself, a functional cookie named nf_lang may remember your choice for up to 12 months. It is not used for advertising or profiling. You can delete it in your browser settings; the site will then use your browser language preference again. No audience analytics or targeted advertising tools have been added to this website's code.
5. Access, retention and security
Access to inquiries is limited to people authorized to handle them. Information may be stored in Netlify form submissions and in messages delivered to our business email system. We retain it for as long as necessary to respond and follow up, subject to applicable legal retention requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. Connections use HTTPS when the certificate for the domain being accessed is active. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely risk-free.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, or exercise other recognized rights, including data portability where applicable. You may also submit a complaint about how your personal information is handled. Access and correction requests are reviewed within the applicable legal period, generally 30 days.
